xAI is being sued by the Southern Environmental Law Center due to the FACTS that the company has built and is operating an illegal power plant to power its data center.
SELC and Earthjustice are exposing xAI in a new lawsuit representing the NAACP and its MIssissippi State Conference.
The lawsuit brought by the SELC, NAACP, & Earthjustice is asking the court to do the following
- Force xAI to stop operating unpermitted turbines at its Southhaven facility
- Order xAI to install the vest availavle control technology on the plower plant, and
- Assess financial penalties to xAI for every day it violated federal a law
